This sucks so far adding on this armor on my j/k is killing the power and mileage. All I've added is a cai. Its helped a little.next I guess a cat back.not sure what brand though.

I think you are going to be waiting for a while. The Pentastar 3.6 is out so I would think that would be where they put their focus. Just gear the piss out of that thing that is the only way to get usable power out of 3.8 anyway. But maybe I'm wrong and a tuner is coming. Just glad I didn't get a 2011 when I bought mine.

I emailed them a week ago and got a response that it will take at least another 6 months. Had to go with AEV.

The 11's and 12's have the same ecu encryption by bosch. So once they crack it both years will be normal procedure for them. I would say once it is cracked you will see the 11's tuning first though. They already have data on what the 3.8 can do and how far they can push it. But the 3.6 is a huge unknown esp with the vvt and the new trans.

Personally I am not sure why they have not worked more with the European tuners. Heck they have been breaking bosch stuff for years. Some of the tuners go as far as breaking apart the ecu, de-soldering the chip and reprogramming it then re installing it.

If Jeep is so concerned about people cracking their codes why dont they come up with a tuner on their own? I know I would wait in line to get one.

Because they don't like when people mod their products as it is now, I doubt they would assist in that process.
