Default Superchip flashpaq Q's

Recently tuned my jk with my flashpaq to the mileage xs tune. I have 33" tires and no regear and I have noticed some improvement. Granted I've only been through one tank of gas since doing that. I wanna know if anyone has seen a big improvement with this tune with larger tires. Also would like to know how much power the jeep gets with the performance tune. Thanks guys & gals!

I'm currently running the mileage xs tune on my JK and so far I haven't noticed any improvement in mileage. I get around 14.5 city and 16 highway. I do notice less power, especially on hills. I've tried all the different tunes with at least one tank of gas and similar driving conditions and really haven't been all that impressed. Other than being able to program larger tires, gears and tpms, the flashpaq tunability is mostly snake oil in my opinion. You're mileage may vary! :-)

I haven't experimented with the tuning a whole lot but I was not happy with the performance of the mileage tune. I compared performance to the tow tune at one point and didn't really feel that the performance tune was worth the higher octane gas so I've been running the towing tune.

I am running 37s w/o regearing. Don't have the cash yet. I get the best mileage with the tow tune. Improved by 2 mpg on my rig. Actually the power loss with that tune was not nearly as noticeable as I was fearing.

While I haven't tried it, I have read that the XS mileage tune or whatever is actually not very good. I've been running the 87 octane tune on mine and have been happy. I am going to do a road trip next weekend that involves quite a few mountains so I'll see how I feel about things then I guess.

I have noticed that my rpm's have decreased from 2000 to about 1800 at 70mph in 6th gear. I have noticed a little bit better power in 6th gear as well. I will probably tune it to performance mode today to see how well it does.

I have a 08 with a 6 speed and running 33's 3.73 gears. until the tune I was getting 16.6 hwy. I'm now running the 91 octane performance tune... I'm on my second tank of 91 and I'm up to 18.2 hwy, and its cooler and windier now. But I'm running the same roads so it should be a good test... And it fixed the lag at takeoff from a stop, and it has a lot more power. I can pull hills without loosing speed in cruise where I used to loose 3mph... I gained also 10% on mileage and the difference in the price of gas is less than 10% so I'm ahead of the game on what I pay for gas to miles traveled. So I'm very happy with my tuner and tune...
Now before someone starts ragging about dino charts etc. I couldn't care less what a dino says... I'm running in the real world, not on a dino... If you don't like the tuner you don't have to buy one, but don't rag on the ones that have them when you don't have a clue...

None of the tunes that the Flashpaq has to offer have that WOW factor. Sure there is a slight performance improvement over stock when running the 87 tune but no MPG gains what so ever when I tried the Mileage XS. The 91 tune felt no different than the 87 so I reverted. I've bought the Flashpaq but I'm not sold on it. Way too much hype IMO.

I have used 3 different tunes from the flashpaq now and the best one by far is the performance 91 octane. Power is good and fuel mileage increase is better than the mileage xs tune.
