Default superchip programmer issues

has anyone had a problem with there programmer not wanting to take there settings for the download of the offroad package as far shutting off the TPMS... mine seems to keep saying the package has been purchased(but its free) but when I try to download into the Jeep the choice for shutting off the TPMS is not there.... just checking with others... I have the 2010 Sport 2dr. I have been in touch with Superchips and we have not solved my issue yet i was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem...............

You can find a few other threads on this here, and also in the forums on the superchips site.

Try installing a base tune to your JK ---> then update via computer --> then try the tpms...

The programmer needs to have your vehicle info prior to tpms.

If that doesn't do it, there were a few issues with 2010's that needed a special update, they will do the magic on their end, tell you when it is ready, and you will update your programmer as normal. (this was quite a while ago, so I doubt it's this issue, but ya never know)

Are you going to the advanced tune or the quick tune ?
On mine I went to quick tune then to the options page ( like the page to turn the idle set point up ) it gave me the option fir tire pressure there

There are 2 TPMS features. I believe the one you are referring to that has been downloaded is the legal feature that allows you to reduce the stock threshold.

The TPMS offroad feature requires that you be vinlocked before it can be downloaded. From there you have to agree to the online waver stating you take responsibility for using this feature for offroad applications only. Once you make it through the waver the feature can then be downloaded and installed in your vehicle.

That is how I down loaded mine Scott. I installed the basic tune into my JK and then downloaded those enhancements from the web and there was a waiver issue.

If you are still having issues with the waver give customer service a call at 888-227-2447. The rep should be able to get that issue fixed for you while you wait.

It seems my problem is with the Vin# not being correct in the programmer. Due to having the same programmer for a 2009/2010.
