23.5mpg must have been mostly downhill, right? I have same tires, maybe a bit lighter since I'm on 16" wheels, and I'm in the 19's mpg hwy, at 60-62mph, which is great too, I think. 3.73 gears, OD always off. It will not hold OD, and even if it would some times, you're not doing your engine any good running it at 100% engine load. I'm running 87 tune, not 91, but the 2-3 extra hp (I assume) will not do anything significant. Overall I'm not happy with Superchips.

I reset the gauge as soon as I hit the highway this morning and set the cruise at 60 and this was the average MPG reading after 30 miles. It was higher at some times but leveled out here!? I'm happy with it either way and will run a tank through for more accurate results.

I completely agree. I've seen people just as excited about Procal as others about Superchips.

As far as mpg....the number the OP sees on the dash just can't be right. Either the speedo is off so the mpg calc is off or something else is wrong. Any improvment in mpg from a Superchips is probably 0.5 to 2 mpg. Unless he was getting 20 to 21mpg, is running a completely stock Jeep, does all highway and is very light on the gas pedal....that readout is not accurate. If the speedo is accurate, I would love to see an actual result hand calculating it when he fills up on an empty tank
Agree here also. Stock JK auto will never get that good of a mileage, forget about 35's mud tires on 17x9 wheels with a 4" lift. Either speedo is wrong, the calculator is wrong, the drive was mostly downhill with wind in the back, or a combination of them.

30 miles is not quite enough to make any valid conclusions. Going down a mountain I could probably get 40+ mpg, but that's rolling, not pushing.

True and I will do more research in the next few days. I have a GPS and will get some more readings compared to that. Either way the same trip before averaged 17 before the programmer so any results are better.
I think I'm going to have my friend put it on his dyno and play around and see some true results on power.

Never rely on the on board computer. Find the MPG the old fashion way. Take the miles drivin and divide by how many gallons you pump into your Jeep.

Definately! I was concerned the benefits were only for auto's. My 07 6 spd loves it! Very noticeable throttle response, with greater torque in low end-mid range. Enough of a gain that made me wish I'd bought one sooner

It is a well known fact that tires never measure up to what it says on the sidewall. My Nitto 35s come to 34.6". A GPS is the best way to set your speedo if you have a tuner.

My new tires are Toyos and are bigger than my Bighorns by quite a bit. They measure almost 35", however, 33.5" is the sweetspot for with Superchips for these tires on my rig. My point was that what you stated at the end...use a GPS to get a better reading as you have to tweak the tire sixe a few times usually.
I agree. Using a GPS is the easiest way to tweak the settings for correct tire size
