I have about $300 extra discretionary funds. This is the same amount as a Superchips programmer or a months Jeep payment. I have all the mods I want for now so am debating between the programmer or just sending an extra payment this month. Wouldn't mind some quicker throttle response and noticeable power, but not sure if the programmer really delivers this. (Running stock 4.10 gears on 6speed 3.8L with a viper throttle body and a snorkel)

Can someone with the superchips comment on if it's worth the $300? Is the difference in throttle response and power noticeable?

 

I got one for my 11, I'm not sure it performs significantly better but it did improve my shift points (auto)...but think that was mainly from adjusting for tire size. Also was able to turn off tpms (I chose not to get any new ones with my new wheels and tires). I run 87 octane and used that tune, read is you use higher octane and use the tune it is better fuel economy. I have no regrets getting the flashpaq over the cheaper one without tunes.

 

I really liked my flashpaq. Great features and noticeable performance gains. I have it for sale.

 

Definitely worth the money. We have 3 Jeeps and all have the Flashpaq.
