Default superchips or bully dog?

I'm leaning towards getting a ruler for my 09 6 spd manual and would like some feedback on the two to see what everyone's opinion is good or bad......

I'm guessing that no one has responded because there are a number of threads out there debating the pros and cons of the various performance programmers. I don't have any experience with the Bully Dog. However, I do have the SC and love it. I used it to re-program after adding larger tires, then again after a re-gear. I also use the quick tunes to enhance my performance or gas mileage as desired. I have been very pleased with the product. The ONLY issue I have is that it is a bit slow to change between tunes...and that's not really a big deal. I have noticed a marked difference in fuel economy and performance. Good luck with your question, but a quick google search will probably get you quicker answers.

I've never had a Bullydog but Procal and Flashpaq. I liked the way both of them performed. Of course AEV is basic with a few extra options but still a mighty little device.
I'm happy with my Flashpaq and its ability. But it would be nice to have a unit like the Bullydog for idle feature, traction control killswitch and the ability to have it hooked up all the time for certain function control.
It just depends on what you need it for. Eventually would like to try the Bullydog
Check out their YouTube video.

Bully dog looks nice but I would stick with the tried and true. Superchips have been around for a long time with mostly good reviews. I would like to hear more feedback on the bullydog however...

I've had the bullydog since I could first get ahold of it, thought about the vivid but price swayed my decision. I love the bd the extra gauges are awesome and the tuning is great...I normally run the reg tune and it's great but have run the prem tune with prem gas and it's torquey as hell....I have never had any issues with it

+1

Happy with my BD!!! Premium tune is nice, with throttle sensitivity settings ect.. I have not yet had the need to change anything on the auto box settings, however I did find that with the prem tune, the auto is happy even with 34" tires and 3.73 gearing..
