I bought a Superchips last week and with running the 87 tune I'm impressed. I have more power now with 5.13's 40" tires and the Superchips than I did with 3.21's and 33's. I'm going to see if I can run a special on these starting in Aug. for Jk forum members.

I called SC, and apparently they will get back to me soon with a fix. I hope.
I would definitely try your update again and make sure there isn't any interruptions during the download. Also, make sure you have a ticket number so no matter who picks up the phone you can get a progress report.

Tried the update several times - no love.

I did not get a ticket #, talked with a guy named Sunny (Sonny?). He said he was passing it to engineering and they would call me with an update. I guess I can try them again tomorrow to see if there's any progress - I wanted to have it all done for a camping trip next week.

Definitely get a ticket number! Without it you could be starting fresh on your next call. Also, if your days are busy like mine you can post things to their support forum if you've made any advances or are still having problems while their support lines aren't open after the business day.

No ticky, no laundry.

Hey, I sold my hypertech on ebay and got the SC and love it so far except for two things.... see if you guys know anything about this?

1. Shifting seems to be off? The Jeep waits too long to shift to next gear.... seems to be missing the powerband. Its not that bad, just a little annoying when I punch it to go around a semi on the interstate.

2. (here it comes I know I know) TPMS! WHEN? Thats the main reason I bought this and sold my Hypertech was they advertised TPMS adjustment! So anyone heard an update? I'm thinking no.

Oh, I'm running 87octane performance with 33 inch tires. No other performance changes via the SC. What do you think? Is the towing better for city driving?

My guess is the TPMS thing is held up making sure they have the right legal stuff attached as I mentioned before. It definitely shouldn't be all that technically challenging to program, but the legal entanglement of such could be large.

I really like the tow setting for zipping around town even though I was using the wrong octane and didn't RTFM.
