I just got my Maryland emissions notice and I'm wondering if the Jeep will pass with a Superchips tune on the CPU? These days all they do is hook up a reading device to your computer and take a reading. Will the tune "show up" or set of a flag?

I know I can always put it back to the stock tune if I had to, I was just curious if I need to do that or not.

You should be fine. Worst case, you return it stock and try again. No problems here.

Both of our JK's went through MD emmisions with no issues..... both on 87 tunes.

Just make sure you have no lights on your dash including BAS/ESP..... heard from others they will fail you even though it has nothing to do with emmisions.

 

Same here in Colo. Can be a real pain!
