Default superchips issue?

just took a trip to outer banks. In 4WD hi i tried to disingage the front sway bar and the light would just flash, bar never seemed to disengage.
Also was unable to get the rear locker to lock, again it just kept flashing, never came on solid like it should...

What am i doing wrong?

Sway bar disconnect on a rubi--will work in 4 hi but only at low speed and level and may have to move around just a bit to get it to free up and be exactly level.

Locker--stock locker or Superchips locker--stock locker won't work in 4 hi. Superchips locker--once you turn it on, you may have to roll backwards a few feet to get it to engage.

With Superchips Flashpaq you can use lockers in 4HI but only with the programer attached and I think the light flashes even after they lock with this method.

The swaybar should disengage below 18mph in 4HI and will reengage above 18mph.

I could be off a little but from memory this is my understanding.

i could never get the bar to disengage. I drove for a good 2mi with the light just flashing..
I didn't have the flashpaq attached when trying to engage the rear locker in 4hi..seems it should function without the flashpaq being plugged in...Maybe im wrong.

The tuner has to be plugged in to alter the can messages to allow the lockers to engage in 4-hi. The sway bar will always work in 4-hi, from the factory. Has to be under 18mph (or 20)however.

He is right. One of the reasons I got superchips was to engage the locker in
4hi, I didn't know you had to do it with the programmer and leave it hooked up. What I did is looked up in "write up" section and did the "full control E-locker mod". This is one of the best mods I have done, and easy enough for anyone to do. I did the "ESP kill switch mod" after so I can go nuts in 2wd. Still looking for a mod to disconnect the swaybar when ever I want.

The swaybar disconnect mod is easily done with a couple of wreches.

Just kidding, I know what you mean.

I did the same, the rear locker is great in two wheel drive when pulling your boat out of the water.
