Hi all. I have a Superchips FlasCal 3570 with the tuning upgrade. My question is, can I use this on other folks' JKs, or just my own? Do they have protections against stuff like this? It would have cost me $80 just to have the dealer reset my speedometer for tire size, and it just seemed like the better choice to get my own tuner so I could tinker with it myself... It works so well that I thought I could use it to re-program my buddies' jeeps as well.

you can only use one tuner per vehicle. to use it on another jeep you have to reset to stock from yours.

All of the programmers/tuners get locked to a specific VIN when they are used. To tune your buddy's jeep, you would need to un-tune yours, setting it completely back to stock, and then basically 'give' the tuner to your friend. Hope he appreciates your generosity...
