2. The firm shifts of the performance tune might not be best for offroad. (I'll try the crawling tune this weekend).

What???.....In a PM from Scott, he told me...."Currently we do not have options to adjust trans settings like shift points or firmness." So what did you do?

Seems that my jeep shifts harder with the "87 octane performance tune". I don't think that I am imagining it. They don't tell you what the tune changes, so I can't say anything for sure. What I am trying to avoid is a hard shift in 4 low when I am on muddy off-camber trails - this can make for an unnecessary slide.

They also list "crawling tune" in the feature list, but I was told by a forum member that it isn't in our programmer - that's a bummer since I was going to try it this weekend. I guess I'll just put it back to the stock program for now and try that.

Hmmmmmmm....that's interesting. I haven't noticed any difference other than more power. I say that because my auto is not downshifting to go up a few hills that it used to, but it seems to me shifting the same. I retuned again last night. I also noticed that I have no "Rev Limiter" "Tow" or "Crawling" tune. I do however have the "Speed Limiter" tune. I did notice a "Transfercase High Ratio" and "Low Ratio". Is that only for those who have modded their transfercase?

I did find the "Tow tune".....but don't have the crawl or rev. I still haven't updated due to my super slo dialup connection. So that may be why they're not there. Jpop also said he likes the "tow tune". He also said it may cause you to use more gas but didn't know for sure. What have you noticed? I may have to try it, but don't really want to loose any mpgs. But hey......with my speed limiter off now I can go 140 mph!!!............so who cares.

Haven't tried the "tow" yet, but just checked the mpgs again.....19.2 this time.
