i have a 2010 and i changed my tire height too! no problem. to disable TPMS you have to install additional FREE addo-on module in the SC software. be careful tho, it reads backwards. you want to enable the TPMS, which will in turn allow you to disable the sensor. you can have only have one thing loaded, enable or disable. one overwrites the other.

Also ont he tuire height, mine started at 30" when i read the current configuration. but have the sahara with the factory 32" tires. WTF. that makes the speedo read faster, thus running my warranty out faster. i put in 37" for my tire, then drive thru a construction zone where they have one of those radar things setup that tell you your speed on the big display. my speedo was showing 5mph too fast!!! so i changed the tire size setting to 35", but i am actually running a 37" tire.

which brings a new thought into my head.... i believe that if i put in the largest tire, say a 44" and some high gear ratio, that i could cut the speedo reading in half. why would i want to do that u ask? if the speed reads half the mph it should, then the miles would rack up half as fast. Who wants a 72,000 mile warranty?! (besides the lucky ones to get lifetime)

Your fuel economy would be so jacked up with that gearting/tire configuration that you would probably break even with respect to any warranty repairs.

Anyhow, just because a tire says it's 32"/35"/37", etc. doesn't mean that it is 32",35",37", etc. Take an actual measurement. If you want to be even more precise, take measurements every 5,000 miles (I do this) and adjust accordingly. Tire size obviously decreases with tread wear.

Yup absolutely...my 34.8" KM2s are set on my SC as 35s and my GPS shows about a 2 MPH difference in speedo vs actual. If I set it to 34.75" on the SC, shows about 2 MPH slower.

Shift points incorrect, torque converter locking/not locking at inopportune times. You burn a lot of fuel with the transmission hunting for gears and/or constantly shifting. Transmission aside, you'd be flooring it constantly just to try and keep up with traffic ... and WOT = less MPG.

MPG with an automatic suffers when going from 32 to 35, uncorrected. I cannot imagine going to 44". Even with a manual, you'd still have to basically use WOT very often.

Superchips made a huge difference in my MPG, and I did a scientific before/after analysis ... compared fuel consumption over "corrected" mileage (based on tire size). I did not rely on the OBC because I knew it would be incorrect.

LOLs, well thanks. I basically learned all this by reading jk-forum.com for the last two years. I didn't know much at the beginning (all though I took auto shop in High School a long time ago and grew up riding tractors/farm equipment in upstate NY as a kid).
