Superchips Traildash 2 question
Hey, I just purchased the TD2 and went to install it today. I followed the instructions and it isn't saving my stock files.
If you read the manual, the instructions go in this order:
1. Connect TD2 to OBDII port, follow instructions to save stock files.
2. Connect to computer to update via Fusion
3. Swap PCM
4. Connect TD2
Problem is, when I connected the TD2 to port, turned the ignition on, it went through a quick initialization process and never backed up my stock files from the stock PCM. I waited for 20 minutes to see if I would get an on screen prompt and nothing. Restarted, and nothing.
Superchips is closed until Monday, so any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry, just saw this. It's under the engine tuning section on the TD2.
Be sure to test everything before updating the engine tune. - By that I mean locker/sway controls first.
I had to add an update to my system which meant reverting to stock, applying the patch for the 2013 then re-tuning.

Thats interesting..I have the TD1 model: when I select a tune it backs up my stock file and then proceeds with the installation of the tune. When I switch from one tune to another it still goes back and checks the integrity of my stock file. Did you update the TD via your home computer before plugging it into the Jeep? Definitely give Superchips a call as soon as you can either way!

I have the td2. It was a little funky setting up. Like they updated the td2 but not the instructions. I've had success calling them and messaging them on Facebook. Good luck!
