My buddy has a Superchips TrailDash with the dashpod in his 2008 Jku and is trading it in and is selling the programmer. I want to put the programmer on my 2011 jk and was wondering if the dash pod would work and if not how much it would run me to get a new dashpod if it won't work. Also what are the advantages of the Superchips?

That programer won't work the 2011 model has it's own special programming I would cal super chips and confirm if you still are unsure I tried taking my superchip from my 08 and putting it in my 2011 when I traded it didn't work

 

I looked at Superchips.com and saw that the part #'s are the same and they both say the exact same thing under them. The only feature that I would not be able to use is the transmission tuning. Is this what you were talking about when you said it wouldent work?

My superchip was the flashpaq the trail dash is different I guess but you lucked out on that one good deal

 

Yes, the TrailDash will work on your 2011 JK (and up to 2014s now). You will have to use SuperChips Fusion software tool (believe it's Windows only) to download the updated tunes...and you should be good to go.

So how do you like it?

 

I haven't got it installed yet,I'm doing updates,waiting on the mount to come etc.. But so far I love the display and I'm ready to try some of the tunes out...looks like a pretty awesome tuner if you ask me!
