How do I do that if there is no software for it? I dont have anything to give info-wise to the wizard......

The FlashPaq update software installs the driver onto your machine. Select the option to find the driver automatically. If any windows security warnings pop up, just click continue and install. You can also download the latest install software from Super Chips and complete another installation if that doesn't work.

FYI, To download the software, go to www.superchips.com. Click the my account drop down and then click download software.

Yes it will work on your Mac but you need to use a Windows Virtual Machine (Parallels or VMware Fusion).

I would suggest getting it updated. I got mine yesterday with a manufacture date of 11/11/09 and it has been updating the tune on the thing for the last 10 min, had downloaded like 5 or more files

Is this thing working with the 2010 models yet, or not?

Default Try Bootcamp

I had similar issues when trying to update the device from within a VM, granted I didn't do much troubleshooting. However... Bootcamping worked fine.

YMMV

Bootcamp is the Apple utility that allows you to boot Windows natively on a Mac.

You wonder why? Windows runs faster on Macs.

And, if you setup your vm as a separate partition you can mount the same image/partition. It's really just a boot manager, but if you have a mac using their utility is slick.

IMO, it was a lot more useful when it first came out and the IO on VMs was flaky.

Nowadays, it can still simplify IO issues and run Windows a bit faster (notice I said faster, not fast, just like JK can go faster ), but lot of its value is in slickness like using double shocks.
