Unfortunately, they need to be installed on the inside of your diff. You will need to pull your carrier out to do this. If you've never done this before, you might want to have a shop do it as it can be a tough job especially getting everything put back together and correctly.

unfortunately, the Superior front shafts are narrower than stock and so new seals with a smaller hole is needed to prevent leaking/water contamination. Bummer you didn't get the seals installed at the same time as your lockers.

just talked to superior, 30 are the same size same seal,
model 44 evolution series axles are different.
so you need to change the seals when you upgrade a 44 you do not need to change the seals when you upgrade a 30.
this is for superior only i dont know about the others.

As we are the only "others"....

Our shafts (30 and 44) are the correct size - no seal change required.

And we are the only shafts with the large "1350" size 44 yoke - no downsizing to the 760.

Thanks,
Ron

You only need the inner axles don't you? It shouldn't be a problem getting Superior or Currie to do the inners. They can do D44 ttb axles and if they can do those they can do these inners. It may come down to measurements though. The U-joint is the issue isn't it? I wonder if TJ inners would work . . . don't they take the 760 joints?

ron at alloy, no disrespect intended, simply wasnt up to date on your product.
im sure the 44 guys will cosider no seal change an attractive option if they opt for an upgrade.
