Oh, my installer also said that it took them a little longer than normal to get a perfect wear pattern.
So maybe the people with noise issues had an installer that rushed the job.

my installer had to reshim the back gears in order to get a perfect pattern.

Cool. I've always been kinda partial to Mopars, myself. My last "street" car was a '65 Plymouth Valiant Signet with a small block stroker motor displacing 416 cubes. It ran 9.60s @140 plus. I drove that car everyday for almost three years. We should trade pics sometime. I need to dig mine out. It's been a while.
