Default Superlift or Black Diamond

I have a 2dr jk, and wanna lift it, but I cant decide on a 3 inch Black Diamond, or the 4 inch Superlift. I wanna run 35's. This is my Diaily Driver. Any input?
Also, what adition parts are needed to be purchased, Track bar, steering stablizer ect....

If you are going to go 4 inches make sure you have arms to set castor and pinion angles, trackbar for the front and at least a good track bar braket for the back and extended brake lines. I am not really sure what comes with those kits so I am sure you are getting springs, shocks and extended bumpstops.

For a daily driver you want to limit the number of short cuts you take because ride quality and control can suffer.

these were also two kits that i was looking at when i was doing my lift. however, if you go over 3 inches of lift you will need to replace the driveshaft on your 2dr b/c the driveshaft will lift up at a higher angle which isnt good. it isnt even good to go with 3 inches for too long without replacing the driveshafts. with the 3 inch diamond lift you will be cutting it close and should probably replace them soon. however, with the 4inch superlift, you will need to replace them the same time you do the install. i also have a 2dr and use it as a daily driver, but wanted 35's so i went with the 2.5 teraflex lift. the lift itself was already enough to clear 35's but i put on a 1 inch body lift to make sure that they would clear with big flex. here is a pic with JUST the 2.5 teraflex coil/spring lift, not the body lift.

What he said plus the 4" lift will require you to replace the drive shafts as the stock shafts CV joints will burn out quickly at those angles. If you have an auto trans you will have to remove, modify, or replace, the stock skid as it will rub on the drive shaft at full flex.

here is my JK 2 door with the BlackDiamond 3, BD steering stabilizer, and 36inch KM2s...if that helps.

I have never been more pleased with a packaged lift. The Black Diamond kit comes with everything you need (castors, bumpstops, etc), adjusts steering, and is easy to install.
It handles better now than when I got it stock.

I did have to trim about a half inch off of the front air dam edges for turning clearance. very easy, just did it with an Olfa knife.

Hope you can find this information useful!

WOW, had no idea I would have to replace the driveline, is this still true if its a stick? i Eventually wanna put bumpers, and winch. Because of this I still would like the 4 inches to keep it up thier even if it sags. How much does the driveline work cost? Im so confused now.

I have a JK 2Dr with BD is a 4 1/8 lift. You need a Front driveshaft, skidplate clearance cut for front driveshaft,Brakelines not the brake relocation mount and for max flex sway quick disco.Later you can ad the control arms and rear drive ShaftClick image for larger version

I beleive that people get away with it on the 2 doors for a while, but it is kind of a ticking timebomb. You will need arms for sure if you replace the driveline, you will never get the vibes out if you don't.

Give it a shot, may work for you long enough to build up more funds.

you can get them from quadratec and they are about 370 a piece i believe. and i plan on doing the bumper mods and everything as well. when i do that all i am going to do is put spacers in so that it doesnt sag at all. quite a few people have done it and it worked good.
