Default Superlift/Black Diamond - Other Components Needed?

I am planning on ordering the 3" Black Diamond Lift. I am concerned that I will need other items not contained in the kit, or they will not be the quality needed. Such as, the followinig:

Swapping out the CV style shafts for U-jointed driveshafts both front and rear.
Will the shocks in the kit be of good quality - do I need monotube or adjustable ones?
Adjustable track bar up front
Longer sway bar links
Longer brake lines
Anything else?

I have a 2-door, 2007 Rubicon.

No need for shafts with the 3" kit.

The basic Black Diamond AT shocks are great. I love mine.

The kit comes with a front adjustable track bar that is high quality, you won't need another.

The kit comes with longer sway bar links (greasable) so you don't need those either.

You don't need longer brake lines, the kit comes with brake line relocation brackets.

The only thing I might suggest you get that doesn't come with the kit is a rear adjustable track bar. It comes with a track bar relocation bracket for the rear, but I took mine off and went with an adjustable bar instead.

Thanks for the help. Where did you purchase the adjustable track bar? I took a look at your project page and liked the looks of your tires. How are they on the road?

Have you done an in depth review of your kit. Is the rear track bar bracket axle mount or frame mount? I know I already bought a lift but I am looking for the next big upgrade. Nice lift from what I have read so far. It beat out a huge number of lifts in a suspension shootout.

With this kit and the adjustable control arms its unbeatable according to this.

How does this lift compare to the FT Ultimate? I am going back and forth between the two lifts. Thanks.

You might consider not using the cam bolts that come with the kit and adding some adjustable front upper and/or lower control arms.

And you may find that with the short 2 door, you may need a HD rear driveshaft. If you have an auto trans, you'll probably have to upgrade the front shaft too.

I have the Black Diamond kit with adjustable lowers and adjustable rear track bar. My only problem (so far) has been the tight fit between the stock Rubi wheel and the rear sway bar link. With the new links in place (new in back, back replaces front) I get some sway bar link to wheel contact on the passenger's side at nearly full compression, and the other side almost hits the driver's side wheel at full extension - so it's not an adjustment issue. I believe this is due to the increased arc of the longer adjustable track bar.

I'm going to try to fix it this weekend by mounting the rear sway bar links "backwards" (bolt end out). Visually, it looks like it would work, but there might be clearance issues with the passenger's track bar mount. I really don't want to go with spacers (or new wheels) if I can help it.

I would think any lift that includes longer sway bar links in the back (like the Black Diamond) would have this problem.

I posted about this a few months ago... I installed this lift, but one of the track bar bracket bolts backed out (drove only 150 miles before this happened...) but the body shifted and rubbed the sway bar links against the tire and wheel. Just switched them around, and no longer an issue!!! Little difficult to squeeze past the shocks (if you don't unbolt them) but totally worth it in the long run...
