Default Superlift Rear adjustable track bar

I installed a 2.5 inch Teraflex spring BB. I was going to install the Superlift adjustable rear track bar. I did not know until I received it the directions call for installing a new bracket on the axle to raise the angle. I feel this will cause more leverage and only a matter of time before it tears from the axle.
Since I am only 2.5 I was wondering if I could not use the bracket.
Has anyone installed the rear track bar with out the axle bracket?

with just 2.5" of lift, you do not need to use the relocation bracket that they speak of. also, you are correct in assuming that installing the bracket would be a bad thing. there are some brackets that are made well with reinforcements but the superlift one is not one of them.

NO. at 2.5", you'll just want to use an adjustable front track bar to recenter your axle. you should NOT use a relocation bracket up front unless you are installing a dropped pitman arm or draglink flip at the same time. with a small lift like this, you would most likely ended up over correcting things.

Superlift trackbars are junk, send it back and go with a better manufacturer.

I run Teraflex front and rear. I sold my Superlift to a friend , the trackbar came apart on him driving down the road, threads stripped out. It was only a little over a year old. A few others on here had their superlift trackbar strip out too. Although these were the front trackbars that came apart, I can't see the quality being any better for the rear.
