Default superlift or skyjacker?

Ok right now i have a 3 inch bds lift i wanna go bigger im torn between the superlift 4 inch which from what ive heard is netting about 4.5 to 5 inches depending on added weight. Or the Skyjacker 6 inch which ive heard sits lower in the front for those that have them id like to hear some opinions of what you think. How much total lift were people getting with skyjacker and superlift? is it worth the extra money for the skyjacker how did the superlift springs hold up with added weight as i have the warn tire carrier on now and will be adding the front bumper soon. Im sorry for the questions just dont wanna regret anything later on also hows the ride with the standard superlift shocks? i love my bds ride just want something bigger thanks

Is there any reason why you don't just add coil spacers to what you have now? It would be a lot cheaper to do and with the money you save, you can always get things like adjustable control arms and track bars to make your BDS kit really nice.

well i was lloking at that but if i go taller than 3 ill need new drive shafts im sure and adjustable arms all the way around and by the time i do that i could have just bought a new kit and most likely be taller than what id get with spacers or am i wrong? id like to do it as inexpensive as possible any feed back would be great

Hard to say for sure. Coil spacers are cheap and you can get them as tall as 2.5" (which would be way too much in my opinion) but a set of 1.5" spacers might just give you what you are looking for and for cheap. As far as drive shafts go, non of the kits you are looking at would have them anyway. Yes, an adjustable front track bar would be a must and I would recommend one for the rear as well even if you already have a drop bracket but the only arms you will really need are adjustable front uppers to dial in your caster... maybe lowers as well. For the rear, you will only need uppers to set your pinion angle. In the end, I think you will find that the cost is still less to go this route... but, I could be wrong.

Yeah....I'd probably do this too. Just throw some coil spacers in there. Keep this in mind too......if you get the taller springs, you will increase the spring rates quite a bit. By keeping the shorter coils and adding spacers, you'll maintain the nice ride you probably have now.
