Superpaq Benefit?
OK, I had a Superpaq for my H2 (yes, I know, but I upgraded to a JK) hoping to see better fuel economy, but really never did. It is now on my wife's Tahoe with the new fuel economy program, but it hasn't been long enough to see if it will help there either.
I have a mostly stock Unlimited X. I just put on 18" Sahara rims with slightly larger tires (by 0.6") over stock. This is my daily driver and only sees offroad occasionally, but nothing hard. Because the '07 rims don't have the tire sensor in it, the light on the dash flashes at me all the time. It is annoying, but I can live with it.
I know the Superpaq can turn off the tire sensor light and adjust for the slightly larger tires. But can I expect any other benefits. I get an average of 16 mpg (auto, soft top), with around 12 in town and 18-19 on the interstate. It runs pretty well at interstate speeds (75+). Can the shift parameters make any difference with fuel economy that will justify the price? With stock gearing, tires, etc. I just can't see spending the money. Am I missing something?
Thank, Jim.

Do you mean the Superchips Flashpaq? I don't own one, but it's on my "to do" list when I go up in tire size. There is a very large Superchips thread with quite a few posts. Give it a read and it might help you out with your decision.
