Default Superwicnch EPi 9

I know the Warn product has a great reputation, but for me, I cannot justify the price of their products. I have seen the Winch test from hell and can swing the price of the Superwinch. I am not a Hard Core Rock crawler but do a lot of trails and mild wheeling. Since retiring, the $$$ do not come as easy as when working full time.

I want the unit primarily for self recovery or to help someone that has gotten themselves stuck. I also like the idea that the unit comes with a 20,000 lb. snatch block and roller fairlead included in the price. I have a LOD bumper with foglight openings.

What are the opinons of the Superwinch and saving from $400 to $500 from the prices of the Warn?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

I LOVE my Superwinch EPi 9.0
It definitely saved me when another truck couldn't get me out....lol

LOD has the specs for the EPi so give them a call. They'll be able to clarify if there's any fitment issues with your LOD midwidth bumper.
Talk to Chris at LOD. I've recieved amazing customer service from him. I'm sure he'll get you the answers you need.

Then again maybe someone on here has already tried that combo and can share their results.

Thanks for the comments. I spoke with Chris before I ordered the LOD bumper and Chris assured me that it will fit just Fine! I looked at all of the specs I could locate and it shows it should be OK.

Thanks for the comments!

Default Love my Superwinch

I have the EPI 9.0 and it has performed great! I have made some dificult recoveries with it and it did great! I would recomend it without hesitation. ANd my freinds with their Warns just look at me and scratch their heads . "that winch rocks, and its cheeper than mine!)

One thing I have found is that the EPi9.0 will NOT fit some aftermarket winch bumpers. Ask before you buy.

I have the Superwinch and the Lod bumper and love both. It mounted to the bumper with no problems, and the winch is very high quality.

Thanks for th input on the Superwinch.

Also I like the license plate holder that ptcomp has on his pictures. Anyone know if he made that or is it available someplace?

Thanks again!

Does this winch fit the Shockworks mid bumper? What's the price? Thanks.
