Default Superwinch 160 amp breaker !!!

I know that just a few jeepers put the 160 amp breaker included with the Superwinch winches, but I wanted to install it today. I CAN'T !!!

The breaker is supposed to be installed between the battery and the red cable, but the breaker has long bolts, and can't be bolted to the terminal of the battery. I really don't know how to install it

A few jeepers told me to put it in the garbage...

Trim the bolts?

Get new bolts?

Pics would help.

Had my Superwinch on for over a year now with about 2 dozen pulls. No breaker?

The other question is this....is it a breaker or a fuse?

The superwinches that I have seen come with three fuses sitting in parallel.

Then again, what do I know? I run a Warn.

Here's a pic
It's about 1.5" depth: impossible to bolt to the terminal of the battery

Okay...that looks to be a bunch of fuses in parallel - not a breaker.

Why don't you just use the end with the hole drilled in it to attach to the battery, and the other end to attach to the winch cable?

If the hole is not quite big enough, drill it out a wee bit.

It's a 160 amp breaker. It opens if there is an overcharge, and it closes when the overcharge is gone

It's impossible to attach to the battery IT'S TOO BIG (Much bigger than the small photo!)

I understand now why every jeepers don't install it: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE !
