I actually called superwinch about this and the guy actually said he wouldn't buy an epi winch because he didn't know how long parts would be available for them. I also questioned him about the lifetime mechanical warranty and he explained it meant the lifetime of the product line which I feel is very misleading. I know with warn many of their parts are interchangeable and you can find parts for them 10+ years down the road and that is how it should be. I agree with you that they should be able to supply parts for existing products and with that being said I found a great deal on an epi9.0 so time will tell.....
