Default Superwinch Install Question on 2009 Rubicon 4-door

I just got a smoking deal on a 9000-lb winch for my 2009 Jeep rubicon 4-door.

What mounting plate do I need to use so I can retain my factory front bumper? Or is anyone making their own?

Do I even need a mounting plate?

Let me know what you have or what you've done to get this bolted down.

BTW......$400.00 for a winch that was used 2-times and looks like new!

Harbor Freight has a plate for around 40 bucks. I mounted mine up side down between the frame rails and it works great!

The winch I bought has a winch plate that adapts it so It can be bolted to the front of a Ford Super Duty.

I can trim the ends and it will drop down between the tow hooks.

Is there much metal there to bolt this baby down to is my question?

Thanks,

Aaron

Do a search for winch mounts on factory bumper. There are quite a few on here and some really creative solutions that look and function great !!!
