I have been looking at this winch. Quadratech currently has it for $399...can't beat that price. What is the weight of it?

That's a nice looking install. Hope it holds up for you and you don't have to worry about the warranty. I always think about those warrantys......lotta good they do when your stuck bigtime and it burns up....like when the tides' comin' in fast
Again, sure hope you don't have to find out.

I am running it also, although I switched to synthetic.....love mine and even added a wireless controller to it.

Oh the sticker on the solenoid box will fall off

Did the cable fail? ...or you just upgraded because you wanted to?

Nope, not at all. I wanted synthetic for safety reasons and weight. I fabbed up my own bumper and was concerned I had too much weight up front...(It didnt, but had already ordered the cable lol)

I don't think you need to worry about this winch. Superwinch builds quality into all their winches.

AFAIK 2 years on the 8500 instead of lifetime. And yes it is an import. I had Chinese all over my instructions.

Chinese

mine came w/t french english and spanish

had a little bit of trouble w/t the spanish
