I talked with there engineer about it. Its there solution to an entry level winch. Its a competitor to the Tabor series from Warn and the XRC from smitty, and Mile Markers entry level stuff. It doesn't have the rugged solinoid of the EP series winches or the superior design aspects, but the series wound motor is a definet plus and for someone that only plans to use a winch a few times a year its probably a good choice. He had a chance to use the winch a few weeks ago and said it worked pretty good. He said it was slow compared to the EP's but it got the job done.
I got some info from superwinch in Jan. on it. Nice winch, just slow. But it is a entry level or occasional winch.
