Default surf racks on hard top

I'm looking at getting some surf racks to put on my hard top. I really just want the old school style with two cross-bars. Is there a way to mount brackets to the top of the roof. If so, any pics, and what products. I only wnat the wounted on the rear part, so I can take of the freedom

Thanks

Check out langeoriginals.com or rockyridgeproducts.com for pics of JK racks. Also, both Yakima and Thule make racks but I believe you have to drill the hardtop.

for the most part drilling is the only way to go unless you get the Yakima Gutter Mounts or an external type rack. Try the new Search feature

I use the thule gutter rack , works great for surfboards , just place the gutter racks behind the freedom top , too hard to explain here is a picture. The racks are only a foot and a half apart or so. It will hold a ten foot longboard with no problems. If you need a closer picture just let me know.

Default Yakima Surf/Snowboard rack

Here is my JK with Yakima Surf/Snowboard rack on the way to Mt. Baldy. I did have to drill through the hardtop, just have a quality shop do it.

He doesn't say whether he has the Wrangler 2dr or Unlimited. If it's the 2Dr, he doesn't have gutters to mount in to. With the 2 door you have to drill through and bolt it.
