Surfboard rack
I just had a 9 foot longboard made for me and was looking around to find a rack to put it on with the top down but have not found anything that I like. Im not looking to just strap it to the roll bar/windshield because im thinking it might damage my board. Does anyone have any ideas???

I use a Thule rain gutter mount on the soft-top door surrounds... works fine, even at 65mph on freeway. Under $200 for everything you'll need (mounts + load bars).
Thule & Yakima make a rollbar mount which a lot of Jeeps use, but they don't fit on the JK with the padding.

I originally got this for my hardtop because it fits the rain gutters to carry skis & snowboards, and it mounts to the door surrounds in a similar fashion. I don't know the average weight of a kayak. I know they make kayak mounts that mount to the load bars.
