Default suspension decision

Yes, I know, hit the search button, many treads on this.... I did and didn't really answered my questions...

So yesterday I called a 4X4 shop asking about prices and advice... told him I wanted a Teraflex BB for my 4dr Sahara... he told me: well, it's just a kit a of coil spacers and shocks brackets... He suggested the RC progressive kit that includes shocks and springs and it's cheaper than the Teralex kit and told me I should add a steering stabilizer to the RC kit...

So then, I went back to the Teraflex website and I could see that they also have a kit with shocks and springs and a bunch of little pieces...But still more expensive...

Where am I going with this...???
I won't be wheellin much... I'm more of a "poser" LOL...

I understand that a BB just adds a spacer to your coils and a brackets for your shocks... But to me, new progressive shocks & coils sounds better... What am I missing here...???

Thanks guys !!!
Oh, one more thing... that's for my 2010... in case that changes something..
And I will be running 33"s

Chances are the shop is a distributor for RC and gets better prices on their kits. Also, some of the items included in the TF kit, you'll end up needing to get with the RC kit aswell. Some of the members here have had trouble with the rear coils of the RC kit being compressed too much. Others are happy with the kit. Reseach on here and you'll find your answers, if you want basically the same ride you have now and have EVERYTHING you need to run 33's, get the TFBB. jmho.

TF tends to be a little more money because it is a much more complete kit. As mentioned above the RC kit is springs and shock brackets. The TF kit will also give you brake line drop bracks, extended bump stops, a rear trackbar relocation bracket and a set of new rear sway bar links. All those pieces are what make TF the kits out there, they don't skimp, and if you do the math it is usually cheaper to do it right the first time rather than buy the RC kit and then add all the other components. I am not a fan of RC, and have heard mixed reviews, some people love them, but IMO to many have had issues as well. Go with TF and do it right the first time.

the RC kit is great for the money. everyone starts off as a "poser" but you will want more.... trust me. Personally I would go with the TF coil kit and shocks. I have it and it rides great, looks great, and performs great. I thought it would be all I need/want but I am already looking at going to the 4" kit... TF of course

Go with a good quality spring lift. Don't cheap out on suspension as the handeling and safety of the vehincle is worth the extra money.
