Default Suspension lift, Stability?

I added a 2.5BB to my 2dr. To come off a highway ramp, I need to really slow down.

Is this just because I'm using a "cheapo" lift kit? Will a complete-kit give me better stability on-road? Or, will I still be seeing the same amount of body-roll, due to the nature of the vehicle???

most of your problems is probably a result of you driving a 2-door. new wheels with less backspacing or wheel spacers will give you a wider stance and that will help lower your cog. installing a set of adjustable lower front control arms alone will allow you to add more positive caster and help your steering feel tighter too. also, how much air are you running in your tires. could be you have too much in them and that won't help things.

I have 35lbs if I remember correctly. I also do have the spidertraxx wheel spacers.

that's probably a bit too much air for your tires. try running them closer to 30psi. i think you will find that it helps.

I don't see it in your sig, but do you have swaybar disco's or at least longer links? I was amazed at how short the stockers were, and if you are still using those with a BB, you probably are getting less than optimal help from the swaybar. You want the arms of the sway bar to pretty much be parallel to the ground.

Ah, I'll try airing down some tomorrow...

I have the Teraflex BB. It has you use the rear swaybar links up front, and gives you new links for the rear.

Its a high centered vehicle to start with and you added to the height with the lfit. Could it be yuo may have just been going to fast????? Its not always the equipment, could be the driving habits. But I would check what the other posters suggested as well.

I acknowledged that it may be just the vehicle itself. I realize it's a top heavy vehicle, and I realize it's off-road oriented.

I just wasnt' sure if the $$ lift kits (as opposed to BB) include stiffer springs or something to counter the higher lift. I typically go the posted speed limit on off ramps (Not lying... anything above the posted speed on the ramps kicks in the ESP), but a few weeks ago, I couldn't help but notice another jeep (albeit 4 door) lifted that had no trouble cruising across the ramp.
