For 35's, I think all you need is 3" or so.

You could do a 1" BL and a 2.5" BB and be done with it, w/o spending big bucks on new drive shafts, a few grand in parts, etc.

a 4 inch lift for a mall cruiser is OVER KILL. if you want room to stuff 35's, get the Teraflex 2.5 inch kit. It's probably the best budget boost out there... it is good on the pocket, and once you get it, you should be done with.

Anything over 3 inches turns into a big project.

OME lift will clear 35's, you just need to add some bumpstops in the rear and you will be fine offroad.

Why bump stops in the rear only. Why bump stops at all. The OME kit was developed to not need bump stops.

You think a 4" lift is easier than a BL and BB?

What cut and trim?

What about the coupla grand in price difference and several days of downtime, getting newe drive shafts, etc?

I mean, if you want a 4" lift, just get a 4" lift, but you DID ask for opinions.

Its like you want to swat a mosquito, and want to know if the 50 cal electric gatling gun is OK, and we say....hmmm, maybe just use a flyswatter?

And you say, NAW, too much work, I'd rather get the gatling gun.

So - you can get the 35's on there, and have stuffage room to offroad with them if you do a BL and BB, esp if you add the longer shocks option. You should disco the front either way.

The 2" OME lift works too.

If you do a 4" lift, its more height/center of gravity raising that you need to fit the 35's, AND, its WAY more expensive and time consuming.

So - What 4" lift are you gettting?

There are guys on here with 35's and no lift. They complain of rubbing.

Plenty of us are running 35's and a budget boost, mostly with no rubbing. Wheel selection has a lot to do with rubbing.

I say go with the budget boost. You're most likely going to need to spend money on a gear upgrade to offset the larger and heavier wheels and tires. Good luck with your choice!
