Suspension Question
So, I have an '09 2-dr...currently running the Tereflex leveling kit (pucks) with JKU hardtop coil springs. Not really happy with the ride...it's pretty rough. I know this is a Jeep, but I would like for it to me a bit softer/more comfortable. I used to have a '99 TJ with a Rubicon Express 5" lift and the ride was awesome off road and on.
My Jeep is a daily driver...I want the ride comfortable off road and on. I do more on road driving than off. Recommendations?

also swapping to a longer coil that is made for lighter weight will help. I swapped my stock 18 front coils that I was running with a 2" spacer for a RockKrawler 1.5" triple rate and got the same amount of lift but much nicer ride.
^ I would agree. Drop the tire pressure and install some softer coils. I can't believe how many poeple swap to a heavy rate coil on this forum to gain a bit of lift instead of a puck or a 1.5"-2" coil that will maintain or improve ride quality.
drop to 28psi and feel a great deal of difference. No reason to run 36psi on a 2 door that is not loaded to the gills. also swapping to a longer coil that is made for lighter weight will help. I have the Metalcloak 2.5" 2 door springs on a 4 door and got 3"+ lift. Also running OMEs. This setup is know for ride quality and it's true. I'd also reccomend the rancho brackets for the icing on the cake. In the meantime of whatever you choose, the air pressure should help a lot!

Dropped them to 28 and just took it for a little ride...definitely a difference. I can only imagine how it would feel if I can't out the springs. Guess it's time to start shopping again....like I ever stopped. LOL
