Default Suspension Question...Newbie here

Here's there deal, Complete newb here when it comes to Jeeps. I just picked up a 2012 unlimited sport. I love it so far. However it does need a lift. So I'm looking for a 2-4 in lift for looks, minor trail time, and some beach time. Looking for a complete bolt on, if it exists. Ive looked at zone, terra flex, rustys, etc etc. But I would like some real world opinions.

Thanks in Advance.

For what you describe I would just go with the Tereflex leveling kit (2" in front 1" in rear) and some 33's. They look great this way. Search and you will find a lot of good examples.

With that lift kit, is it possible to add more lift later on if need be for bigger tires?

Yes you can add to it. I started with a teraflex leveling kit and then added a 2.5 teraflex coil lift.

if you think that you will only be doing what you said you'd be doing, then go with the teraflex leveling kit or the 2.5" spacer kit. BUT, if you think that one day you will want to upgrade then I would get the Teraflex 2.5 coil lift. its fairly inexpensive and a very, very good bang for the buck. are you going to get bigger tires eventually? and welcome to the forum and the Jeep world!

I went with the Tera flex 2.5 coil lift on my 2 door and am very happy with it. Not too expensive and fairly easy to install. Rides good on the road and does well off road.

I was going to do this. How do you like it? I just have the leveling kit now and my tires rub so needed more lift and don't want the rake back. Any other parts you needed to change or modify other than what comes with the kit?
