Suspension recommendation for Baja pre running
I am looking to set up JKU Rubi as a prerun/chase vehicle for Baja 500/1000. We are all nubi racers. I will be running 35 x 12.5 x 17 tires and driving on moderate to high speed dirt roads.
I can't afford the EVO Double throw downs!
What are all of your thoughts between the following;
Teraflex pre runner kit (with speed bumps) and remote res Elka shocks, EVO flip kit (Almost 5k and not sure I can swing this)
Or
EVO Enforcer with King 2.5 remote res shocks and flip kit
Or
EVO bolt on coil overs with front adj control arms and flip kit
Any opinions with prior experience would be very well received!! My budget is limited but I like doing thinks right the first time. I personally lean towards the coil overs but will they stand up to the heat of higher speed offroad driving like a remote res shock on the Enforcer or Elka?

You may want to pm my son "modestoperandi" on the forum. As far as I know, he is the only person who has used a JK to pre-run the Baja-500. He has done it both in 2011 and 2012, pre-running for our family's race team, so he knows what works and what does not.

The Enforcer kit with the 2.5 shocks and a good set of real bump stops King airbumps will be smooth in the Baja. The coilovers are 2.0 shock. Little smaller than the King 2.5 Reservior shock. It would still be better than your other alternative.
BTW look for Mel running support for the number one team in the series!!!!!
