Default suspension tips

I have been running a teraflex 4inch short arm for probably 7 years or so and I've had to replace the control arm bushings several times. it seems to have increased in frequency since I upgraded my axels, gears, and went from 35's to 40's. I almost exclusively use my jeep for my short commute to work but like having the option to do light wheeling if I'm feeling it so I'm looking into going up to a 6 inch long arm. My question is, do I only need the control arms and springs given I've already upgraded my steering, and my shocks are able to work with up to a 6 inch lift, and also I have no idea what a good brand is to choose, or will I need a full rebuild? I'm trying to save money if possible just to get it back to drivable but I'm tired of replacing the bushings so often and its about time for a change.

Running 40's is wallet-draining . I stopped at 37s way back when while all my friends just kept plugging along to 40s, superchargers, etc. i've seen them all drop by the wayside, all the while i still love my jeep with 37s. anyhow, i've not paid attention for a good while to what the current market is, but the issue with going long arm was always there's no perfect kit out there. if you're someone that can fabricate and work your way around small issues here or there then i'm sure you'd be fine. your UD44 should at least accommodate the extra height as you have some leeway with caster. if you're shocks are compatible, just got to keep in mind the extras like sway bar links, make sure brake lines still long enough, driveshafts, etc.
