Default Swapping to hardtop. Which top is the best?

Hi all,

Going from soft top to hardtop on my 2012 JKU. In your opinion, what's is the best quality hardtop available? Factory hardtop or an aftermarket manufacturer? AND Please post you pics if you wish!

Thanks!

You can find almost brand new hardtops all day long on Craigslist for cheap. I run my hardtop year round and have the sunrider for hard top in replacement of my freedom panels for 9 months out of the year

I haven't seen one in person yet but Smittybilt just released a cool looking Safari Top. Also There are a couple of companies making slant back hardtops.

I don't have any pics or links to put up, but I'm sure if you Google image search it will come up.

I like the safari top. But it doesn't have panels. It's all one piece.

In in the market to replace my cracked factory hard top. If the safari top had "freedom panels" it would be a no brainier. Can't believe they didn't incorporate this in their design. Just can't wrap my head around the single piece hardtop.

I'm going with a Bestop TrekTop Pro and selling my hard top. The reason I wanted a hard top was for the glass windows and NO zippers. The TrekTop Pro has this covered and the reviews are outstanding!

Most hard tops for the JKU I have seen sell for $1,000 - $1,500.
