Default Sway bar disconnect question

I have not disconnected my new sway bar disconnects, but would like to know how hard is it to release and reattach them? Will the distance between the connection stay the same on a flat surface or will there be some movement requiring some force to reattach them?

It would really help if you told us what kind you have. A few of them work differently.

whichever kind you have, make sure you're on level ground to connect and/or disconnect them. Even on level ground you may have to push on the bumper a bit to get them to line up, but it won't take much. i suggest trying them out in your driveway to figure out how they work,

Good luck

Park on level ground to connect or disconnect. Makes it a lot easier.

Remember that the swaybar itsself moves up and down, so reconnecting one side is always easy. For the other side, flat surface and some pressure up/down on the bumper will get you lined up.

Did this question not answer itself when you installed them?
I'm confused.
