Default Sway Bar Question

I was lazy and got my leveling kit (spacers not springs) installed at 4wheel parts here in Nashville. I noticed that my stock sway bar links were still on in the front. I went back and inquired if they forgot to put them on or something. They said no, they are installed in the rear. We walked to the rear of the jeep and there they were. I said ok and went on my way. I got home and saw the instructions for the leveling kit sitting on my desk. Hmmm...I took a gander and the instructions said to put them in the front. Hmmm....I call Teraflex. "Oh ya, they go in the front. Take them off the back and put in the front". Ok....I call 4 wheel parts back. They still recommend they go in the back.

What say you guys? Front or Back?

2012 4door MW3 BTW.

Thanks in advance!

I thought they swapped the rear links with the front links cause they're longer and the fronts with the rears..

This. new links in rear. stock rear links go in front and replace stock front links.

For the leveling kit, the new links go in the front, rear stays stock. The other answers about putting the new ones in the rear and moving the rears to the front applies to some of their other kits such as the 2.5" lifts.

Well there are a few differing opinions. I'm not sure what to do. Does it really even make a difference to change what I have? What are the consequences of running with negative 6 degrees vs a positive angle on the sway bar?

I just picked them up from the shop and didn't have them install them. They were pretty set that the new ones are too tall and shouldn't be installed up there. If i did put them on then the bar would be jacked way up from horizontal and that just doesn't make sense to me. They are closer to parallel where they are now with the stock links.

Good call. I'd suggest running a little extra degrees positive, personally. Yes technically the bar will still function, the bigger problem is offroad flexing with too short endlinks is flipping the bar. Your done at that point and have to deal with the pia of unbolting stuff. It's happened a few times to guys on runs I've done. Best performance is level, but its a safe to be a little positive if you're flexing and don't disconnect.
