Default Swaybar & coil spacer question

I have a 2011 unlimited rubicon. It really needs a coil spring spacer to level it out. The jeep came with the electric sway bar disc. Any one know of any issues with adding a spacer and problems with the sway bar reconnecting? I didn't know if there would be a length issue or not since it looks like I might need an inch or to to level it.

You want the swaybars to be level with the frame/ground. An inch of lift shouldn't be any problem at all, it's the higher lifts with short links that run into issues.

You could always get adjustable links and dial in the needed length you need.

If the lift is too much then you'll bend the links:

That usually happens when your links are too short. It gets stretched out and reverses and gets bent backwards.

Right, so if you lift it and keep the stock links they will be relatively shorter and could bend. Not sure how much of a lift will bend the stock links...

Right, lifted Jeep + stock links = bent links/sway bar. Most kits tell you to relocate your rears to the front and then they give you a longer set for the rears. You want at least a 90 degree bend or close to it where your link and sway bar connect.

Question ElectronicSwayBar

Hello, I've been trying, elswhere to find out if anybody, anywhere in the country, has had a electric sway bar disconnect failure. My 08 failed months ago and I can't find one anyplace. I'm out of warranty so it's very expensive to get one from the dealership. I've been told I have to buy the whole unit but the parts list shows a break down in parts. I was told my problem is the module, any forum members have any suggestions for me? I was thinking I might just buy a salvage one out of a basic JK and just go manual. I live in south central NY Help, Thanks

Teraflex leveling kit (2" front, 1" back) comes with longer swaybar links.

Get a little lift at a great price.
