I will never , ever have a manual wrangler , to me it would be the worst thing I could do, I can give you a so many reasons why wouldn't want one.

yeah right , if you always had jeeps you would know that all the other jeeps on 35s could hardly ever make it to 60 mph so the jk is actually way faster than that.

Not sure what you're trying to imply, but my 83 CJ-7 with 35x15.5 Super Swampers, 258 CID and a 4 speed had no problems going 70mph. Albeit it was a bit thirsty for gas...

The point of my post was to see if anyone had considered swapping to an automatic transmission and if they had, what was to be expected.

Do I need an automatic transmission? No. Is the JK a better more powerful Jeep than previous models? In my opinion yes. Does this mean I'm lying in my previous response about owning Jeeps most of my adult life? No.
