Default Swivel Light Bracket

I’m looking for a mounting bracket for a light that would mount to (or replace) the little Y-shaped piece at the bottom left corner of the windshield that could host a light that could swivel side to side. Or I could use any of the tons of lights bracket that mount there if there were only some light receiver that can swivel. My goal here is a Light that would stay put aimed in one direction but I could physically reach out and swivel it side to side…. And defiantly not use it to scan a tree line while night hunting…

you could probably get away with tightenning it up so it won't move on its own but could be moved by hand so that your aren't scanning the tree line at night

Default Spot light ?

I have seen a spot light mounted on a "Jeep". Just like a cruiser, you have the handle inside which rotates the light up & down and the grip turns to move the light side to side. Now you can use the light with the top/windows up.

We have those lights on our cruisers....love em....would love to see a write-up on one into a Jeep. They are an invaluable tool.

In Texas, those are only legal on squad cars....

But my KC with KC bracket is right there on the Y piece, whick is more like a T from tetris.... But it is tight, but I can move it by hand while driving and my pasenger can move the other one... It is good for dirt roads and watching out for deer or turns at night....

I did not know those swivel lights were illegal for vehicles other than squad cars. I see "thugs" all the time with Monte Carlos and retired police cars with those lights all the time. Especially here on campus.

I am using the word "thug" very loosely for reasons of Forum Rules.
