The SWTJ problem!

I now have a severe case of the short-wife-tall-jeep syndrome since I put 35s on the JK. I need some kind of steps, elevator, escalator, crane, spring board...

Anyone have any experience with Warrior products? They make both a nerf bar with a step and a rock bar with built in step. Any suggestions?

While I myself am vertically challenged, I found in my hubby's old TJ, that I didn't like using the steps - I thought about it for my JK, but -just a good set of grab handles and some practice, and that was the easiest - and cheapest route to get me in the jeep.

What about a stock style set? how much off roading do you do?
Out of those 2 i do like the 2nd ones.

Thanks for the advice, Grace. My wife is OK with just the grab handles but after a few times getting in and out she gets a bit tired.

We take the JK wheeling a lot. That's why I am looking for something stronger than the factory steps.

Well if you go wheelin alot the 2nd looks like it could hang you up with that drop down like that.

There is an easy solution to this one: get rid of the wife! :)

They are like luggage...they stay around forever. J/K
I"m lift'd with 35's. I have to stretch to get in (I'm 6'1") My wife can't get in. I use a small RubberMaid stool. I have to get out first and help her in/out...but it works out ok. And it's a cheap fix.

sounds like a good excuse to go with AiRock.

buy your wife 6" stilleto's.

:D

...just a thought.

You need one of these:

You can get one here:
stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx/partfamilyid/1612/subcategoryid/351/categoryid/25

I think there are other manufacturers of this, but I am not finding any today. If my Jeep gets any taller, I may have to get one for my wife and kids.

Later-
Tom

PS if anyone gets one of these post up how well it works.
