Default SYE on a 4 door?

So I Know that after lifting a two door, its a good idea to get a SYE, What about on a 4 door? since its longer and the DS isnt at such a great angle as a 2dr would be. Im lifted on 5.5 rock krawler x factor long arm system with 35s.

The SYE are not needed on the newer jeeps (JKs & JKUs). Those are meant for the older TJs, YJs & CJs. All you would need is to get aftermarket driveshafts along with adjustable control arms to address that much lift...

When installing an aftermarket drive shaft most companies recommend/require adjustable control arms to set ur pinion angles. Your lift kit has adjustable control arms so you should be fine.

Just like was said above, the JK's do not need a SYE at all, no matter if lifted or not.

And at 2" of lift, you can most likely stick with stock control arms and driveshafts as well.

O ok I see. Whats the reason for needing a different drive shaft? just a longer one? I want to get one anyway with more strength since its going to be so much more exposed, should I get a longer one?

This is a SYE for a TJ

http://www.4x4xplor.com/SYE-CV.html

as already stated, you don't need one for the jk. The jk transfer case is a different model.
