Anyone have any opinions on the Synergy upper and lower C-gussets? I know the EVO ones are good but the shop who is doing the welding are using the Synergy ones (with Teraflex sleeves).

 

They are great.. Super good quality.. I did them with my friend in his garage not the best welds but they get the job done..

Looks pretty good to me. I like the fact that it's both upper and lower C's. They're charging me $600 for the install (gussets and sleeves). I have no experience with welding. Sounds fair and it's a very reputable shop.

 

That seems crazy i helped my shop install them and got a steal but even without my help he was going to charge 120....but mine were hammer in sleeves that could be why

 

Seems a bit high. Even in the California republic is less. Usually 90 an hour for welding. Most of the time is prep work. You could just get a wheel and grid the paint off where the welds are going.

 

I have the Synergy C gussets too, they do the job perfectly.

 

I have synergy gussets, sleeves and an artec truss.

It doesn't matter the brand... They all do the same thing. The Boxed type gussets seem like they should be stronger than the plate style gussets.

$600 is a good price. The axles have to come out and then they have to drill about 16 holes in the axle housings in order to rosette weld the sleeves in place. The housings then have to be cleaned out before reinstalling diff gears, axles, wheels, etc. When I did mine I removed the axle housing from the vehicle. Did the sleeves, gussets and LCA skids all at once.
