Default Synthetic winch lines in Winter???

What are the Pros vs Cons of a Synthetic winch line in winter where it reaches -28deg C plus wind equaling -40C?

If it gets wet , then spooled there is a chance of freezing to the spool. I have had mine for 3 yrs and no problems what so ever.

Ugggghhhh, thats FN cold. I dont think I would ever leave the house to have a need for a winch.

Maybe if you kept it covered??
