$142,000? Are you sure you got the exchange rate right on that? That would be 850,000 NOK...surely not..

Maybe try the mopar front bumper, mopar lifts their expensive, I'm guessing since it's sold by the dealer it has to be approved.

There is a European company that just started making 4x4 parts (bumpers, skip plates, and a couple other things not many) for Jeeps and other vehicles I think FJ for the US. I have been researching which aftermarket bumper I want to get and I came across this relatively new and unknown company. I can not remember their name. But I know they were on here some where and European, which would probably be your best bet. I would search the forum for keywords like bumpers to try and find the company and if I run across it again I'll PM you.

I thought so too, but it turns out Mopar sells mostly in the US so they dont bother with TÜV approvals.

That's utterly ridiculous. Heck, I thought Denmark was silly but looks like you guys are drawing along side them now.

that's prolly a 5 seater (correct Odin) if you take out the back seats on the 4 door ypu can take off about 200.000,- NOK...it is crazy. i was looking at importing a new dodge challenger and i was looking at over $200,000 just in import taxes plus the price of car and shipping....so needless to say I DIDN'T DO IT

Eehm... 200.000NOK you say, try 400.000 NOk, divided by 6 gives you 66.666USD for the backseats, which aren`t that comfy either. A stock JKU-R with green plates (special bullshit rules in Norway allowing for 2 seater conversions so craftsmen can afford byuing utility cars with only 20% (25%??) taxes) in Norway costs 450000 NOK. Being a standardized family of four, we went for a JKU-R with white plates and full taxes. With the aforementioned options it came at an even 850.000NOK approx 142.000USD....(1USD eq. 6NOK)

As for the Challenger, there is an -08 in the market at a cool 258.812,- USD

If you want to check out more silly car prices check out: http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/browse1

Norwegian Jeeps: http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/bro...MODEL/MAKE=776

Just divide by 6 and be astonished!!!!
