Default T-max WHEEL SPACERS???

Has anyone of you heard of these? A local 4x4 shop said he could get me a set for dirt cheap... Or is this just BS?

I'd proceed with caution. I'm weary every time some tells me something is "dirt cheap"... More often than not it's a cheap quality product & you might end up disappointed. Spidertrax may seem expensive at $100/pair but that hardly breaks the bank and has a great reputation for being a great product.

T-max is australian.
I have one of their wireless remote winches on my TJ and it works AWSOME. They also make cheaper winches that come from the exact same factory as Smitty built and Mile marker.

I assume their spacers would be similar in quality to a rugged ridge product. You should be ok. I've run aluminum spacers from spydertrax and custom made steel spacers. Both worked just fine.

Isn't "T-Max" the product name used by Warn for it's line of imported products?

They used to sell T-Max winches that were rebranded Chinese models...

Anyway, to the question at hand...wheel spacers are one of those safety items that you should not skimp on. Picture what would happen if a spacer failed...

There's another company that has hub centric wheel spacers too and is $10 cheaper a pair than spidertrax. Just a different color. I'd go with either of those.

If Spidertrax were just to cost me 200$ for the set I wouldn't be thinking about it, BUT I live in Beirut, Lebanon and there is no local agent for Spidertrax so to get them I will have to ship it online and the minimum I could hope for would be around 500$ with shippment fees and customs That's why I'm trying my best to work with what I could find locally but still would never install a cheap product on my JK.

Gotcha. Didn't realize you were overseas. Local would always cost less & I wasn't implying you would put cheap sh*t on your jeep. I've just never heard of T-max so I was just erring on side of caution. Good luck!
