Default Tail cover vs full car cover?

I want to just leave my doors and top off pretty much until fall but I park outside so I need something to keep the rain and critters out.
I want something that is super easy to remove and at least moderately easy to install. Bonus points if I can take it with me in the back of the jeep in case of rain if I park somewhere.
What do you guys recommend? The trail covers seem great but look harder to put up than a simple car cover would be.

I want to start enjoying going doorless/topless but with the amount of work it is to take them on and off (I live in an apartment) its hard to find the time.

Less than 10 minutes is all it takes to get a complete top on or off. A cover might save you 5 minutes. I park in the garage daily but we have critters in the house that have access to the garage. I put my top on when I park for the evening and back off when I pull out. JKUR, less than 10 minutes. With that, I couldn't justify spending anything to save 5 minutes or so every day.

Same boat here, but I prefer to have top and doors on overnight. Agreed less then 10 to button down the top.

However for the commute to work I want the doorless trick. Soooo, I will be picking up a reasonable price car cover to keep in the jeep at all times.

Seen 4wp has a Rampage cover for 79. XS cargo has full size covers for 29.

I'm sure the Rampage is a better fit, but for my needs I will go for the 29 model and have peace of mind jeep is covered for rail, dust ect.

While the top isnt that bad (although mine is a bit more difficult because I cant remove the rear window due to zipper damage) the doors suck.
The front ones are moderately heavy and walking in and out of my apartment 4 times carrying doors isnt going to be fun.

I use this for mine. works really well and takes less than two minutes to put on. plus it comes with a handy storage bag so you can roll it up and take it with you. I carry mine with me so i can cover it up while im at work.
Its a microfiber waterproof material. It went through the middle of a flordia thunderstorm and not a drop on the inside.

Putting my soft top up and down has wore it out! I am going get the Bestop NX and there rain cover and leave it down for the most part unless caught out in rain. It not my dd anymore.
